Blush at First Colour

Cyan. Magenta. Azure. Plum. Indigo. Crimson. Sienna. We live in world filled with a plethora of colours. But, what then is colour?

Well, simply put it is light of different wavelengths. Light is energy. Hence, it can be summarised as,           colour = energy. And the fact that colour is energy, it has a physical impact on us. We react intuitively to colours as they convey feelings and emotions to the subconscious mind. The shorter the wavelength, the stronger the underlying physical effect.

Even the visually impaired feel the impact which was proved in an experiment; whereby they were asked to identify colours with their fingertips and were all able to do so easily.

Therefore, choosing the right colours is important as you want to create a positive feeling about your service or product, be it through offline or online mediums. Also, ideally the colours you use should induce brand recognition.
